Hi, I went to the Dr today and she increased my dosage of phentermine from 37.5mg a day to 100mg. That doesn't sound safe. Has anyone else's Dr given such a huge increase without mentioning it? And is 100mg even a safe dosage?

Thanks

Have you gotten the prescription filled yet? Didn't the pharmacist mention the dose to you? I feel there has been a mistake made. I would definitely call the doctor. I would NOT take the medication until I consulted with the doctor.

Phentermine doesn't come in 100mg tablets. It comes in 10, 30, and 37.5. Three 30's and 1 ten sound like a lot. The max approved dosage is 37.5 mg daily. I would ask your physician about this dosage...

You may find that you are very restless and "energetic" at this dose - which may or not be a good thing depending on what you do for a living
