Prokaryotes make up three kingdoms themselves: eubacteria, archaebacteria, and protists. They're very common.

Well lets put it into these terms, if we were to count all of the prokaryotes on this Earth, it would exceed that of all the eukaryotes in the world SQUARED. Yes squared. Prokaryotes were the first living things on Earth, and they existed 3 BILLION years before the first eukaryotes.
