guys never really act that jealous...or they try to hide it...why is that? is it a sign of "weakness" or what? and what are some signs a guy IS jealous??!!

well the main reason i ask is because i told my boyfriend, yeah i always like to keep you on your toes...and try to make you jealous, which never works...he responded by telling me that i DO make him jealous...we have a somewhat long distance relationship, the fact that i am with other guys makes him whistful...=] my words not his...lol but i was just wondering when i talk to him about my day if it's actually making him jealous that i have fun with other guys! For women jealousy seems like a normal part of everyday life, and i know guys hate showing emotion, which is a LOT different then women!

Yeah i dont know about that! Guys get fired up and crazy jealous all the time. And generaly if they try to hide it some of them end up doing stupid stuff like stalking ex lovers or freaking people out!
Guys might only try to hide their jealousys more then woman because I think it is a mixture of emotions and anger. Much easier to show the anger for most men then the emotional side of it all!

HA guys not acting jealous... happens all the time lol! If they do hide it, it could be that they don't want to show you. But I, along with most guys I know, show their jealousy in different ways. Ignoring you, talking to other women, trying to impress you, even beating women, etc. are all ways jealousy reers it's ugly head. Though it's natural we all experience it, watch out, as it affects all men differently.

Yes, it is a sign of weakness! To admit to jealousy would be to admit that the other guy might be better than me! A sign would be a sulky mood, or a strong denial of being jealous. (I'm not really the jealous type myself, honest!)

That can be a tough one. Guys these days still think it is a sighn of weekness to show much emotion. Maybe a little more touchy feely with you, or standing a bit closer could be a good indication of being jealous. Or it could be that he is confident enough with himself that he is not intimidated by someone flirting with you. Hope this helps a bit

it is a weird sign of weakness we dont want a girl to see us jealous. even though they know we are cause of the way we act. some signs are hes quite around you and your guy friends. or dosent really talk when you talk about other guys or dosent wanna hang out so much when your with another guy good luck

It will not help you in any way to learn to detect whether people are jealous. In fact trying to figure out what someone's motivations are is a frustrating exercise that leads you down a messed up path of drama and frustration. Instead judge people by their actions toward you, and focus on your goals.
This guy sounds like a sucker, do him a favor and cut him loose, because it sounds like he has a raw deal and that you are having fun kicking the crap out of his dignity.

There ARE guys that act jealous. They're out there, and you will eventually find them. It can be okay if it's just a misunderstanding. But if you're looking for that, or he is that way over little things, then it can be a bad thing.

Jealous or controlling?
Such as if my girl were to go hang out with her friends, I wouldn't care.
On the other hand if a guy starts coming on to my girl and doesn't back off when I tell him to, he's in for some hurt.

Guys who are jealous don`t hide it...they are very obvious and have a problem with any contact you might have with other guys...even some girls if they feel they have to compete for your time or attention.
