I get a reddish rash after the sun; like allergy(never had before) swollen eyes time to time , anemia issues, achy joints, and have a weird reaction to cold and heat. I get blue/purple nails when it is cold(but not that cold; like 60-68 degrees) and like I was saying the sun leaves me with rashy patches...(and this happens in 75 degree weather) Please if you have any idea what this is all about ; let me know. Thank you, Wife of 12 years and mommy to 4

Hi I have been living with lupus since 99 , It took well over a year before I got an official diagnosis... Its hard to diagnose because it mimics so many other conditions , and you must meet , I believe it is 10 critera before a doctor will tell you , that you have it....

The rash your speaking of , does it ever come on your face? and runs across your nose .. ( this is called a butterfly rash, because the shape it forms , looks like a butterfly) I myself have had the rashs , achy joints , eye puffiness, the condition you describe with your hands in regards to hot or cold temperatures could be (RAYNAUDS) .. Most of people with lupus are sun sensitive, wich is probably why you can relate the rash's to sun exposure...
There are lab test your doctor can do ... A test called ANA, If that is postive... it means you have lupus....

If you are concerned about having lupus and you have those various symptoms, please go to your doctor and get some blood work. (May send you to a lab for that.) If the test results show that you may have lupus, ask your dr for a referral to a Rheumatologist or he or she may give you that type of referral anyway. That is a dr who deals with those with autoimmune disorders such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, and also the chronic pain disorder, fibromyalgia in addition to chronic fatigue syndrome. Please do not try to self-diagnose but instead talk with your doctor. Please take good care.

yes, i think it is either mercury amalgam fillings, root canals, cavitations, or a combination. go to a biologic dentist. autoimmune disorders are common with these.
