yes, relatively speaking, it's one of the least invasive surgeries out there. beware however that the ENT surgeons will usually inject local anesthetics with epinephrine to constrict blood vessels, and thereby decrease bleeding. sometimes, the epinephrine can cause problems with high blood pressure and heart rate.
