heres some tips from me ( i used to have bad skin, still get the occasional breakout)

keep a pack of baby wipes in your bag and use them to wipe your face when it gets hot.

dont, however, wash your face (with cleanser etc)more than twice a day because this can make your skin dried out and produce more sebum, which causes spots.

also buy a mild cleanser or clearasil facewash and use it morning and night.

try not to touch your face too much.

drink plenty of water, at least 8 glasses a day.

if you have a large spot, use a dab of toothpaste overnight to dry it out, and use a cotton bud to dab tea tree oil on spots too.

also, i find using savlon cream mixed in with my moisturiser helps keep my skin clear.

if all else fails, see your doctor as they can prescribe antibiotic pills you take every day. these take about a month to work but the improvement is drastic.they will completely clear up your skin (well they did for me when i was younger anyway!)

they wont go away in a few days, but you will notice an improvement.

hope this helps!

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

I highly recommend a cleansing routine. Morning and before bed. Also, wash your face after practice. I read somewhere that if you tend to get oily skin, splashing on cool-cold water helps close up the pores which can help prevent breakouts. Avoid touching your face whenever possible. If you have longer hair, that can contribute to the acne also. Oils and dirt from your hair can get on your face. Depending on how bad your acne is, it can go away in a few days, or longer.

I used to get a lot of acne, all over my face. Nothing worked for me until I started using a brand called C.O. Bigelow (can be found at Bath & Body Works, www.bathandbodyworks.com, or www.cobigelow.com). I recommend getting products that are compatible with your skin. Asking the salesperson can help determine this.

I know Proactiv works for a lot of people, but it didn't for me. I also know that for many, once they stop using it, their acne came back and sometimes worse than before.

Of course, all products have varying results depending on the user. You might have to try a few before you find one that works well for your skin. If your acne gets really bad and persists, you might want to try a dermatologist for prescription products. Only do this as a last resort, because it can become pricey.

Good luck. =)

Sounds like you are breaking out in the areas where the sweat is collecting.

Try the following:

1.) Wash your face throughout the day and especially before and after a sport activity.

2.) Use a Neutrogena face wash for acne twice a day.

3.) Rub ice cubes on your face after you wash your face to disinfect it.

This should help you.

Be sure that ANYTHING that touches your face, (phone, helmet, etc.) are thoroughly cleaned, this should help to prevent new acne.

As for your current acne, use a cleanser, toner and lotion that are specifically for acne prone skin in the morning, evening, and after any atheletic activity. If this causes dryness, try using the products once a day and slowly increase use.

I personally use Clear Advantage.

Your best bet is a day and night skin care routine. There are loads of great products out there. That is going to be your number one help in getting rid of blemishes. I am not sure how many days it will take for them to disappear, but get a line of products that work together and ask loads of questions to the salesperson!

try proactiv and don't forget to apply a sunblock. they wont be gone for 2 or 3 days. usually it takes 1 week for results to be noticed. acne is caused by you genes plus the environment. my only advice is have a healthy lifestyle and eat good food. TC!

diet is one obvious aspect to consider when you have a breakout like the one you mentioned.
Try Shaclove / Shaderm Pack - Herbal Anti Acne Pack / Mask ... it works wonders for me! (amazon sells it but it's currently out of stock) Also, use a facial cleanser like Avene.. it's pretty mild and it does what it claims to do! G'luck

You should bring little face pads to practice with you so you can dab the sweat off your face and its less likely they will result in pimples.
