When my gf broke up with me, she said that she needed some space. What did she mean? Also, everyone at school hates to see us broken up. She says she still loves me, but she just needs some space. Do you think we will be able to get back together? we never fought or anything...

definite possibility. she probably just wasn`t ready to be a girlfriend. i`m sure if you just give it time, let her be, & if she really is the one for you, she`ll come right back. =]

It's hard to say what she meant. I have said that before and what I really meant was that I had lost interest or wanted to see what else was out there. But she may truly just need space, maybe she wants to focus on other things like school, family, or friends. The only thing you can do is give her space. Don't try to get back together with her. Try to be happy. If she sees that you are happy, and she misses you, she may come back. As they say, "If you love something, let it go; if it loves you, it will come back." Good luck.

Alright well I would think that by saying that she needs space she is just telling you that she feels she needs to be away from the relationship for alittle while just to maybee catch up with some other friends, or she may just be going through a hard time for some reason and wants to be left alone and when she is open to talk about it she will let you know. It sounds like maybee just a rough spot in your relationship that you both will most likely get over and keep growing closer together.

Honestly when I was younger I used the "I need some space" line too. What it really means, is "leave me alone". Don't contact her, she doesn't want to be with you.
Do not, lose your pride over this....she is over you as of now, and most likely interested in somebody else.
Even though I don't think you should worry about this, the easiest way to get a girl back - is to ignore her and act like you don't care. If you leave her alone she will come back, right now she thinks she has the upper hand and she does.....act like you have the upper hand and you will.

"Space" means that she needed an excuse to not date you anymore. It sounds like you guys are young so, maybe not such a great idea to be tied to one person. Look at the positives, now you can get to know other girls. Let her go, move on. There really ARE other fish in the sea.

I know excatly what she feels because I did that excatly same thing with my bf=)If she said that she still loves you then she does,its just that she feels a little unsure of whether if she know's you well enough or not yey.Just give her time,give her a chance to know you more,then she'll be sure,& probably yes you guys will be back together & don't rush her,the time will come soon!Wish you luck dude.

It looks like she just needs to be away from you beacuse she has stress or something~ May problems with her house, friends, or something else~ so just give her some space and not talk or call her until everything is better~

maybe she has something going on and is confused or something like that but I'd give her her space that happened to somebody i know the girl said the same thing they ended up back together

Why don't you ask her what she means? Usually when a girl says that it means she just wants some time to be on her own. But it could mean that she likes another guy, or that she just doesn't want to be in a relationship anymore. However you should really ask HER what SHE meant.

heya i think that she means that she just needs time out. She could be having issues of her own. Its best that you just talk to her and ask what she meant and if she will be wanting to get back together again. If not its her loss and just move on. Good luck

She might be going through a lot of things personally and she maybe thinking things over about everything in life. This is one of those 50/50 things It can be one way or it can be the other way. just relax if things go not your way it's not the end of the world and you'll know not to date chicks like her!
