If hes looking at CARS and trucks... then i dont think hes looking for a 'heavy duty' truck...
With that said... get something reliable...
And please... please test drive a bunch of things before you buy... "Impluse" buying a car is stupid

Bull crap! When the warranty is washed up compare prices of parts on a rice packer compared to an American full sized truck. Neither has enough power to pull a dead horse across a plowed field. They haven't figured out to produce a diesel. Take a look at the differential on the Japanese trucks, puny at best. The new hyped Toyota has timing BELTS driving the camshafts. Who wants to deal with that junk. Trucks are meant to be trucks not a glorified weasel car

Any GM products.All cars break down from time to time and I don't like the crazy repair bill you will get from a foreign car.
