Garlic is something people always think about when we think Italian and Rome Italy is the capital of Christianity? They just hated those Christian crosses. I just had to laugh when I heard a comedian say "How dumb were vampires--why didn't they ever chase Jewish people"?

What is even more odd is the fact that thousands of years later, science actually shows the garlic strengthens the blood.

Strange huh?

We give our dogs and cats garlic to keep the fleas off. What is a flea? A tiny vampire.

According to folklore a sprig of garlic appeared when Satan was cast out of heaven down to earth.
The garlic bloomed in the first footprint his left foot left behind (a sprig of onions appeared where his right foot was).
A plant supposedly created by evil may have the power to repel evil (the use of opposites, an important part of peasant myth)

Vampires pre-date all religions. The reasons some people did not get attacked or survived vampire attacks are complex and varied. But a very brief explanation is this: Vampires did not usually suck blood. Blood was just a metaphor for energy/life. However, if your energy was greater than the vampire's and/or if you were conscious that someone wanted to drain away your energy you could fight it. Since most people did not fight it because they did not know, vampires did not bother with people who wanted to fight.

Garlic repels insects. That is why it was thought to repel vampires.

because of the fact the vampire delusion originated in countries that have been, on the time, predominantly Christian. The good judgment: Vampires are evil devil is evil for this reason vampires might desire to be in cahoots with devil (improper good judgment) devil is the enemy of Jesus Jesus died on a go (genuinely it grew to become into extra T-formed yet this is besides the factor) Therefor devil particularly particularly does not like crosses (does not stick to in any respect) devil particularly particularly does not like crosses for this reason they might injury him (sorry, what?) Crosses can injury devil Vampires are in cahoots with devil for this reason crosses can injury vampires (epic good judgment fail)
