i will agree with everyone that says "wait till the COT", yes all cars will be equal then, but i still dont see it helping the 55 car, just my opinion

I'm not surprised that he isn't qualifying for races. He wasn't ever that great of a driver, and the combination of that, making his own team, and having a new manufacturer all work against him. NAPA will stick by him throughout the season, at least, as he has more value in commercials and promoting his sponsors than in a race car.

I think that all of the Toyotas are doing horrible and they will wish that they had just stayed in truck and never came to NASCAR as all of their cars suck, and its not because the drivers arent talented its just the cars arent very good. When the COT comes around yes everyone will be the same but the best teams now will more then likely be the best teams with the COT and the best drivers will be able to adapt to the new setup fairly quick and adjust and have success very early on while others will be struggling to survive.

I'm not really suprised. With the whole Toyota thing being brand new and all.
No car owner/driver is ever very succesful and he already needed all the help he could get.
Jarrett didn't make it either.
I'm still suprised Toyota gave Waltrip the key's. I like him but you need a name like Evernham or Hendrick to launch a program like that.
Ofcourse Ryan Pemberton's been caught cheating as a crew chief. NASCAR has a long history of hiring the best cheaters to police the garage etc. Who else better qualified for the job!!

I am not suprised at all. I never had the opinion that Michael Waltrip was a good racecar driver, however his marketing skills are off the charts! I think Michael should find a driver for his car and market and manage his racing teams! Gotta hand it to him though, he has a great attitude.

I am sure it had to do with that "Fuel" additive not being in his tank this time....what was that "additive??" Oh Yeahhhhh, thats right, Ryan Pemberton, "The Great And Powerful Wizard Of Nascar" said, that they would not tell what it was". Like he himself never tried to get some advantage through the tank with Rusty, ROFL!! Give me a Break....Michael Waltrip should be ashamed to be associated with any of it anyway, Darrell is the reason he got there, but hey, thats just my opinion.

I am shock that he failed to qualfying because me and my mom likes him and his brother Darrelll Waltrip. I was crying that he crash for qualfying for sunday's race.I don't like the new track.I like the old track. Of the Las Vegas Nevada track. Well Michael is trying his best to do as much as he can. I am still proud of him even thow that he failed to qualfying or even if he does make the race I am still proud of him.

A very overrated driver who won two daytonas on luck alone(Big Crash and Rain). He's only racing because of his older brother and the fact that he has the money for his own race team.

i guess i can't say i'm surprised because it's clear that toyota's operation cannot compete right now...i guess he'll have a better chance at the COT races where all the cars will be basically the same

Nope. Mike W just never had any talent at all and now being that he has to try and run a team and also drive is showing what i have thought all along.......he has no brain activity at all!!!! Plus he can't even cheat very well.
