I've noticed that many scrubs these days use polyethylene beads as the scrubbing agent, but I can't seem to find a source. I'd really like to save some money and make my own. I've done searches on Yahoo and Google, but no luck. Any ideas?

I know they carry Jojoba Meal... which is Jojoba seed powder ideal for gentle exfoliation. its a natural, affordable alternative to polyethylene beads...
(I couldnt find any Polyethylene beads anywhere, at least not by themselves without any other additives)

I hope you can't find anything, because these damn beads are going to end up accumulating in the environment because they aren't biodegradable. There's already plenty of plastic trash floating around in the ocean and littering the side of the road, we don't need anymore. Have you ever given ANY thought to what happens after you wash it down the drain?

Use rice husk or walnut shell PLEASE! God made things biodegradable for a reason!
