The senate would argue it for weeks, clogging up the media outlets for another non-issue. When the bill finally passed to let the light bulb go in. The president would veto it. In the end, the light bulb would actually never get changed at all. The American public will continue to remain in the dark, divided over the issue.

To "shed some light" on your question. It takes 1 politician per watt to change a light bulb and 1 politician to read them the directions.
