Is God willing but not able to prevent evil? Then he is incompetent. Is God able but not willing to prevent evil? Then he is malevolent. Is He able and willing to prevent evil? Then why does evil exist? Is He neither able nor willing to prevent evil? Then why call him God?

The Ten Commandments have been given to people, and people know right from wrong. Everyone chooses to do as they like. But then when they get caught they blame God. People are evil and do not prevent evil. It is their own choosing. People are in-competent, and not willing to prevent evil. People are malevolent and do not prevent evil. It is the people who choose to do all of this. Not God. But this is how the evil keep going. They blame God. We call him God, because that is what He is. You need to start to study and then you will know. The truth shall set you free from evil and doubt. Hmmmmmm...read the Holy Bible and you will know the truth.

Evil (Satan) is real. He exists to tempt us from God. God has given us a choice to decide which path we will follow. Satan is a liar, his price hefty, God is all truth and light. If you choose to live in the light, satans darkness cannot prevail. God will make all things to be used for His good purpose and plan. So evil at some point will be turned against itself. Since we are God's hands and feet on this earth, perhaps He would like us to reach out, or go the extra mile to "prevent" evil. It frightens me that people think the way your questions reads. To me it is living in darkness. Step into the Light

It's not that he's incompetent or malevolent. It's our free agency to decide who to listen to, Satan or God. We have the right to choose to do good or evil. It's our divine right to choose and part of that right involves accepting the consequences of those decisions, good or bad.

That is His desire and there is no doubt He has the ability. The time for evil is about over and soon we will all call on God.
