Hello I am a 26 year old woman from Tennessee.There is a family at a school I work by.I see the child sometimes.I talked to him once.He is 5 years old.He seems without emotion.The other children at the school hit him with books and call him **** but he just stares with no emotion.He has several scars on his arms and is missing a finger.I asked the parents about this and they said he is adopted and he had those scars before they got him.but I think they are abusing him.What should I do?I don't want them to know that I told anyone

if you feel he is seriously being abused then you need to call the social service for your state and talk to a caseworker perhaps and get them involved so they can investigate

Talk to the child more, get involved with the child become a friend of him. Once u have the evidence report it to the child services.

I would alert the authorities and ask them to check it out. I wouldn't worry about them finding out you told. So many people worry they will be found out for telling, but what about that child that may need the help and no one is willing to step up and make that call. Tell someone.....Good luck!
