I bought a new Pontiac, and the day after I got it, it had to be towed back to the dealership. I was without a car for 3 days, as the GM rep told me that Pontiac didn't provide loaner cars. The car has since been in the shop for repairs an additional 4 times. The brakes had to be completely replaced at 26,000 and are now going bad again at 32,000. The heater/AC knob fell off while I was driving. This last time (to replace the starter system), the GM rep told me "any part can break at any time". GM customers now fall into 3 catagories: masochists, imbeciles, and those over 80. Never again. I want a good reliable foreign car.

sorry to hear about your problems with the pontiac. i work at a gm dealership and i ve seen my fair share of problems with certain cars. but i know that these types of problems exsist on all makes and models. in the front of your owners manual is a 1 800 number that you can call and voice your complaint and you can also ask to talk with the area service rep. to discuss the vehicle. but i know with me sayin what i ve said will not change your feelings for the gm line. i can assure you that not every car that gm puts out is unreliable. i own a cavalier that i use as a work car that has no major repairs made to it, and it has roughly 264,000 miles on it. i hope that you can get your problems resolved. may i suggest taking your vehicle to a different dealership for repairs in the future.

good luck.

Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with your new car. As you can tell, I like Ford's but I can't run down GM products either.
If you are unhappy with the car or the service, take a look in the owner's manual and you will find a number for the Customer Service in Detroit. It's a 1-800 number. I know, GM wants to know about it and they will help you. Hope you get some satisfaction from them. It could just be your dealer.

My husband in simple terms offered a used motor vehicle it particularly is a Toyota. it is the 1st non-American motor vehicle we've offered in fifty 5 years of marriage and we are Democrats. whilst extra perfect automobiles are made - customary automobiles will lead them to, is our slogan. you have heard the previous united states of america track approximately 'we at the instant are not the Jet Set, we are the previous Chevrolet set' i'm hoping.

Been there done that, that's why I drive a Toyota.
I could start with the horror stories but that would fill a couple pages at least.

Please buy a foreign car, there is a reason GM is going under and it is not because they care about their customers!
