I'm sorry that you are feeling so sick. The burning as others have mentioned, is most likely due to the gastric (pertaining to stomach) acid that is present in the regurgitating of your food or stomach contents. What is a risk with vomiting for 'throwing up' if dehydration, not having enough fluids in you which can cause other serious problems (not to scare you) such as arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), electrolyte (minerals) imbalance, and/or even passing out or worse. Please do call your dr and find out if he or she feels that you need an IV (intravenous) to replenish our needed fluids. Feel better soon :)

Your throat may be burning because of the vomiting. The most important thing when you are vomiting is to stay hydrated. Drink small amounts (I'm talking tablespoons here) of gatorade, powerade or pedialite. Depending on how violently and frequently you are vomiting you may need to be seen by a doctor. In the front of your phone book, usually in the blue pages in the health dept, there are usually listed some RN/nurse helplines. Call one. They are free and they are qualified to give you medical advice. I'm not. I'm just a mom. :)

Your throat might be burning due to throwing up.
Are you allergic to foods or medicines? If so haul *** to the ER.
Did you eat anything that might have had a cleaner spill on it? Then that's also cause for ER.
Hope you feel better.

The stomach acid has hurt your throat, it's very normal. It will go away as soon as you start to feel better. Keep brushing your teeth and try to drink plain water or tea to keep hydrated.

Take Pepto-Bismol or Tums. Try to drink some water. Lay down and rest and only get up when completely necessary.

depends what you've eaten
the symptoms most likely are seperate and not connected to any particular problem
if you've been throwing up there may be left over stomach acid on your throat, this will make it burn temporarily
sip water slowly to aid this.
