Hemmorhoids are blood vessels that have burst through the...eek...anal wall and are now unsupported. They are the result of straining too damn hard while pooping one too many times. Nearly everyone gets them, especially women who have babies, and those who are/have been obese.

Prep H is just hydrocortisone cream in a non-prescription strength. It's not all that great. It's better than nothing sometimes...

Eating a high fiber diet is the best thing for hemorrhoids by far.

From what I understand, Hemorrhoids are when the blood vessels just inside the opening of your anus get constricted and fill with blood. They will drop out of the sphincter, so they are on the outside of the body, where they were not meant to be. My boss had them a few weeks ago and said it was a cross between extreme itching and pain. She could not sit in a normal position for any length of time and would switch from cheek to cheek to help alleviate discomfort.
I think Preparation H shrinks the blood vessels, like visine does for red eye.
Hemorrhoids were my biggest fear during pregnancy and labor, thank God I didn't get them!

Actually they are swollen veins, usually caused by pushing too hard to have a bowel movement. Preparation H can help to shrink these swollen veins and also help with the itching that sometimes comes with this. Sometimes hemmorhoids get so bad that you actually have to have a surgery to remove them. Best of luck to you.

they are big bags of pus kind of like big warts that hang out of your a** hole. They are caused by squeezing too hard or sitting on cold surfaces, to cure them you put the cream on or you push them back in your a$$.....good luck with them
