No...sometimes they make them stand out. THe best thing for stretch marks is Mederma if you can afford it (expensive) or cocoa butter...they areessentially the same thing. If the marks are recent you can really make them less notcieable. If these are old marks, there is realtively little you can do to make them "go away". But try the cocoa butter anyway...you have nothing to lose.

No it may actually make it worse, however there is a creme called Maderma which is proven to minimize the appearance of scars and strethmarks.....you can buy this without a prescription at your local pharmacy

No and in some cases it makes them look even worse. Try some coco butter to soften and moisten your skin.
