You should have phrased your question like this:

What would America be like today without the sacrifices made at places like Valley Forge, Bunker Hill, Gettysburg, Antietam, Belleau Wood, Midway, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, the Bulge, Korea, Vietnam, and yes, even Iraq. ?

And the answer would be: There would be no America.

I'm with you 100%. Anyone who does not support and respect our troops are not worthy of the sacrifices that have been made on their behalf for over 200 years.

What's your point?
I'm retired both as a Policeman and from the Army, so what?
Does reciting the same mantra help you?
Does it in some twisted way help you justify our invasion of Iraq?
I was paid to be a soldier and I was paid to enforce the law
Build me a memorial thn send me out to get killed?

I disagree with sending our military to defend foreign interests. Respect does not mean agreement. Our Military should be defending the USA and not Israel! Our taxes should be serving the American people and not the Israeli people..
America is a Continent and not a country. Amen
