If there is a living spirit, life would not be intricate, and since life is intricate as you said, there's therefore no living spirit.

Sorry, but not knowing how life started is not evidence of any spirit. Complexity does happen naturally. This has been shown in many ways.

Um, unfortuanatly, similar to what the first answer was, saying that aethiests don't know how something started, all they have are theories (with TONS of evidence I might add) does not mean god exists. Sorry. Why? Because you haven't given me evidence of a god. You've only said that we don't know how something started.

Complexity is ultimately the result of selection processes applied to variance not prior complexity. The idea that complexity is the result of prior greater complexity only leads to infinite regression.
