I built a computer from scratch, CPU, motherboard, DVD burner, graphics card, and all the other necessary components. The last thing to do is install an OS. Is it possible to install Mac OS X on it? Or is only Windows compatible?

If I use an emulator, which one?

While OS X is far superior to Windows, you won't be able to easily install it on a PC. You won't have support for various processors and other devices, that is if you can get it to recognize the motherboard. I'd recommend a flavor of Linux, probably Ubuntu.

Sorry, if you want to run the Mac OS, you have to buy a Mac. As others have said, you can run OS X from Windows within an emulator or virtual machine, but I wouldn't recommend it unless your machine is very, very fast. Most emulators are so slow that they'll drive you insane, plus there will be hardware compatibility issues. It's really not worth it, especially since you can buy a Mac Mini for $600 and it comes with the OS.

Only Windows. But OSX sucks anyway.

Well, you could do Linux or Unix too. But you will probably want to stick with Windows.
