Also as long as the feeling is there. For example: you're walking then all of a sudden you notice an attractive woman, you look with wide eyes... and she notices you, should one look away or just smile? It sounds as if it's okay but I mean where's the line of lust and and initial just looking cause you're attracted to each other?

Well, it is not polite to just stare at someone. It makes people think you're a weirdo. Smiling is generally a good reaction.

Lust, btw, is not a bad thing. It's a natural human emotion. Enjoy it.

If you are considering it from a religious viewpoint and you are questioning where the line is for the "sin" of lust, then here is my advice.
Lust is a large physical attraction, an obsession, or strong desire for something. It is often an obsession of another individual. It can often be confused with love.

The biblical Greek word for lust means to "long for." This is far from what you are doing with a casual glance, but I am not the one to judge your heart.

The temptation to lust in and of itself is not a sin. There will always be beautiful women, but whether you choose to look and long for that person sexually is your choice. O whether you choose to turn your head, it is up to you.

In a bible study I have participated in a common phrase was "when in doubt, look at all the gum on the sidewalk as a oppose to all the beautiful women, especially when they dress sketchy.

I know what you mean.

I don't know why some women on one hand can dress like a whore, and on the other hand get offended when someone looks. I mean when you ask for it, you get it. The bigger the boobs, the smaller the brain I guess.

The best thing to do if you don't want either a black eye or a relationship is practice your peripheral vision. Otherwise, there'll be plenty of opportunities when she's not paying attention to what you're looking at ^^

But ya if you really like the girl, don't just stand there drueling on yourself, show some class and say hello.

Staring is considered rude and makes the other person uncomfortable. If the woman notices you, and looks away that should be you signal to look away also. If she notices you and give you a come hither look or a little wave of interest, then drop the stare and casually try to meet her.

There is nothing wrong with attraction. There is something wrong with "lust." If you dwell on lustful thoughts concerning her and entertain what amounts to pornography in your mind - then that is sin. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. To commit adultery in your heart is the same as doing the act in the eyes of God. Thoughts that come can be dealt with and are not sin - thoughts that stay and are dwelt upon and entertained becomes sin.

If you stare too long you will creep her out. Stare when she is not looking if you want to look. Don't be scared and go talk to her.

good question

I think you might have to consider... does the looking drag you down.. does it lead to wrong desires or is it more a healthy social interaction
