Why won't any guys ask me out?

Question

I have brown hair, blue eyes, average hight, friendly, 13 y/o (almost 14)
and shy, I'm kind of a tomboy, I love sports and would rather play hockey than dance. I don't wear make-up except for a bit of blush, any suggestions? All my friends have had there first kiss and It makes me sad that no guys seem remotely interested in me at all...

You just need to find that special guy. It may take a long time, but it will be worth it.

You don't want to rush things and go out with a guy just to have a boyfriend or just to get your first kiss. Those are special things, and it's okay to wait.

& it doesn't matter if you friends already had their first kisses. As long as you're comfortable and want to kiss the guy, that's what matters- not how old you are when you do it.

Because girls have cooties. =P You're only 13, almost 14 and a lot of boys at that age don't really know what they're doing. They're probably too scared to do anything right now...just give them a few years and they'll catch up and probably by then you'll never be able to get rid of them. Just wait. Go out and play some hockey, don't worry too much about getting kissed yet. =D Things will get more interesting after middle school.

I'm 13 almost 14 also and not many of my friends have had boyfriends or kissed anyone. Some havn't even gotten asked out. I've never had a boyfriend and I got asked out a bit but i think most were in a friendly way. The problem I think is guys see you more as a FRIEND then a GIRLFRIEND. Just be a lil more outgoing and ya know wear the occasional lipgloss to get his attention but always be true to yourself. Also, dont rush into a relationship, i mean c'mon your only in like 8th grade, ya got time =)

you have to consider the fact that a guy likes u but is too shy to ask u out or show interest. Maybe the guy who likes u is really discreet. I like this guy that i have never talked to and doesn't know i exist. Try to be outgoing, but dont try too hard. Continue being friendly, but just be who u are. sooner or later, a guy is surre to show some interest. I'm 13, and no, no guy has shown interest in me, except those occasional annoying freaks with sweaty heads and clothes they wear everyday. I continue to be on the lookout for someone who is my type (prefferably wearing deoderant) and shows an interest in me ( not my body). Just keep on waiting. don't be desperate, that never works. You will find that someone special i promise, because nice friendly people never fail to have lovers ;-D

i'm 13 almost 14 too and i haven't had my first kiss either u really shouldn't feel sad about it wait and eventually you'll meet the right guy. most of the times people will regret that kiss because the guys will turn up like jerks but there is nothing wrong with u not everybody gonna like you but when u find someone who u like talk too him find out the stuff they like to do and then the right moment will come.follow my advice and good luck!!

Akward to tel you this since im 20. but, I dont remember the guys I went to school with liking Tomboys that much. I dont mean to hurt your feelings if I am. But its because you are competetion to the other boys and wouldnt doubt you could beat them at things. Being shy also gives you that disadvantage. If you feel you like someone in class, write a note to that person and see how that goes. I was shy. I understand how you feel. Good Luck

well you should try to be like you friend and that did not work out ask his why he did not ask you out may be they are shy just like you. And may be you are not there age may be they are older then you and after you get your first kiss he may want to take it to the next step like sex and if you donot do what he want he will broke off with you so that all have fun

Like come on 90% of the boyz like girly girls or normal not tom girls. maybe the guys dont like tom boys and i suggest still play sports but also be a little girly with some clothing and not when you play sports like during class and hallways swicth it up if that dont work ohwell they should like for who you are

Start hanging out with a guy you might have a crush on..who knows he might feel the same about you but you just dont know. Start wearing some more make-up. If you find a guy you have alot of feelings for..ask him out.
