Would that be enough reason for me to call you immoral ? Would it be enough reason for me to 'warn' you about the eternal pain you will feel simply because you thought my proof was kinda silly? Would it give me the right to whine if my kids weren't allowed to mention my Holy Nephew in science class?

I would believe it. It may not be true but if it is and I don't believe then I'd have to suffer eternal torment. If it is true and I believe then your Holy Nephew will send me to paradise. Why would I choose not to believe? Also, to raise the stakes for me, if anything goes wrong I'll use your nephew as an excuse not to take responsibility for it because he deemed it to be so. If anyone challenges me about why there is bad in the world I'll say your nephew gave us free will and some people choose to pull the pin rather than push the envelope. When anyone asks why your nephew as holy creator of the universe would desire worship I will say oh, we don't have THAT much free will!
Plus, your nephew is holy, alright. Holy and hot. No, no, I know he's only 3, I mean hot from the holy heat of hell living beneath him. That's what I meant. Jeez.

This is a great analogy to fundamentalism!
The question is if the followers of "your nephew" will ever be open to reason. Especially in a democratic government where the majority becomes a mandate.
And as long as they rely on faith, the answer is no.
