Does anyone know whether the current Champion of the world, N. Valuev, who is as yet undefeated, has ever been knocked down by an opponent during a match. If so, state how many times this has happened, and the opponent. First to list a complete account takes full points!

Valuev has never been down. His manager has done a great job hand picking opponents for him. He can't protect him any longer, so we should know whats he made of in his next couple of fights. I know I would not want to be there if he ever goes down!!

Blogbaba has never seen the big fella get dropped, never see him actually get tagged solid. It will be interesting to see what happens when he fights a live opponent. So far he has taken very little by way of risk with the opponents he has faced. With the shape of the Heavyweight division, you gotta figure the Kilischko's will be the ones to watch. I don't see Valuev getting past either one.

The two above are right, the wba champion, Valuev, has never been down. Of the 4 heavyweight champs (Klitschko-IBF, Maskaev-WBC, and Briggs-WBO) he is the longest reigning and is the only one not to have a KO loss.

but in response to blogbaba, Valuev has been hurt and hit hard vs Taras Bidenko (even boxrec.com says he was almost KOd by Bidenko http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:351292

Here is a short video clip of it.

Valuev's record 46-0

I know people say 46-0 is inflated but so was Rocky Marciano's

His only decent opponents were Roland LaStarza and Rex Layne before fighting Louis in his 37th fight...who was really old by then.

Heavyweight boxing is a joke right now. Who really cares about who the champion is? I miss the heavyweight's of the 70's and 80's when you get to hate or love the champion.

um, in case you pick to exclude ROH and TNA i think you are going to be asking "who's the present activities entertainment international Heavyweight Champion" even the WWE say they at the instant are not a wrestling agency, they're a activities entertainment agency. they at the instant are not even stated as wrestlers anymore, they're "superstars" now... so truthfully, the present WRESTLING international HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION could be Roderick sturdy from ROH or Hiroshi Tanahashi in NJPW
