1. just look at those that bash and then realize 99% of them are 15-24. the age of pure immaturity, confusion and "know it all" 'ism.
2. for their sake of mind.....I hope they grow up enough to realize the truth past their hormonal ignorance. For if not, they alone will pay.
3. I think its more confused people than true atheists etc, for if they were true atheists, they would not be here, or at least not in the religion section. For when I was one for 30 yrs, I had no wants or wills to be around those of the bible. Not on a board, chat room, blog, not in person, not in a building. Yet here they are, day after day, account after account. I think they lash out in confusion. They state fancy answers, big words, but from the few I have talked with outside of the answers......they were nothing more than a child using words they couldn't even define let alone know the true meaning. I went round and round with one guy till I had to paste clips from Webster to show what he was really saying....of course he vanished after that...typical child.
4. Just follow the book....
Matthew 5:11-12
“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Greetings to you in the Name of Y'shua, our Savior.....and may
God bless you!!! :-)
I guess we just have to remember what Paul wrote...that we wrestle not against flesh and blood......and just say a great big
THANK YOU to satan for bringing another blessing into our lives...... Matt 5;11.
I try the best I can to just answer the questions as sincerely and respectfully as possible even when I'm pretty sure how it's
going to be received by the one who's asking, especially as I have already a less than favorable reaction.....but I always re-member one of my fave verses now...Isaiah 54:17....It works!!
There are alot of really good answers so far!! I usually don't read the answers BEFORE I answer, but I did this time....
One thing I heard recently is when satan is messing with us -- just say, "What-e-v-e-r, satan!!" and give him the hand... :-)
2 Thess.2:10-12 and I Cor.1:18 are also good to remember when answering -- or trying to - answer some of the questions here....and like Jesus said, THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO.....and in reality they don't!!!
And as much as we can respect their free will, just as God will
always respect the free will of every single person, the their free will STOPS at the point where they try to PROHIBIT us from being able to tell OTHERS about Jesus -- even when THEY - the militant nonbelievers DON'T want to hear about it.
As I was writing just earlier, THIS site is NOT their personal domain and they have no right to keep us from sharing our views, but some of them seem to think that it's ALL about what THEY want or don't want!!! They have every RIGHT not to get saved if that's what they really want....but that is ALL that
they have the RIGHT to as far as what we do in proclaiming the gospel to the lost.....That's really where I get angry and fed
up with them -- not just here on yahoo answers, but in general, with the secular progressives or whatever they want to call themselves try to shove us into a closet and lock the door so that THEY don't have to deal with our presence in this world.
So get over it already.....
John 3;19. Y'shua, Who is the Light of the world is an offense
to those who hate God and because He lives inside us via the
Holy Spirit....the world HATES our being here..... Ohhh welllll!

If I knew for a fraction of a second why we or any other religion for that matter are disliked, I am sure it would make a nice answer. For now we can only pray for them and try to work with their negativity. It probably means that they are just lost or seriously deprived of the joy that God brings. I guess it is most important to just pray for them and try to forgive them, they are just suffering and don't know it. Who knows? Any one of us could mean the living or dying of that person! Spread good things, and we shouldn't be afraid to go out there and get battered a bit for the sake of helping people. After all, Jesus was literally killed for that purpose. Sorry for the long-winded answer, but keep on hoping. I know I will.

Most of the time I just ignore the nonsense since you can tell they are either young or inexperienced in life. I have to admit I do get a bit peeved when they call us stupid but it's because the only thing I've ever really had as an asset was my intelligence so I'm more sensitive in that area. God's working on it though, especially here :-)

When Jesus was on earth - there were two documented reactions by the people: Those who were drawn to Him, and those who were whipped into a furor against Him.
I see all the attacks as the same kind of thing.
There is something itching at their souls - that makes them seek out Christians - and they vehemently assert their own understanding and intelligence - but it never tarnishes what we know to be true about our sweet Jesus.
We need to remember Galatians 5:22-26 - respond in peace and love - and be His witnesses.
...We may be the only example of "Jesus" some of them ever see.
Peace to you, hon.

It doesn't usually bother me too much because I'm on firm ground in my faith. But I admit that sometimes someone gets my goat. Then I do an attitude check. I think more than angry, it can be depressing to see the declared state of people's hearts and souls.

It doesn't bother me when they make fun of us but what bothers me is when they deny that they do it. To them we're the troublemakers on here. But it's all just part of the game on here. We all put up with eachother and come away having learned a little more about the other.

There are two parts to this answer as I see it. First, we have to be sure that we project a positive, loving, inclusive image. When Christians do the opposite and act holier-than-thou and unnecessarily judgmental, it gives us all a "black eye".
Even when skeptical, scoffing non-Christians speak rudely to us or about us, we have to recognize the other half of my answer and respond kindly. The other half of my answer is for us to know that the rejection of Christians is "guilt" by association. Rejection of an individual Christian can be rejection of Jesus, the One for whom we stand. That is rejection we can and should take proudly.

None of them are as bad as me. They're subtle about it, but I'm pretty much a flame thrower, so I really can't condemn them, regardless of how uneducated they make themselves sound.
The difference is that I don't make things up.
I wonder if they realize when they're formulating their next questions that, if they HAVE to make something up in order to have something to criticize, doesn't that really mean there's nothing materially wrong with Christianity that can be criticized?

everyone is entitled to their opinion and the right to express that opinion. I don't get angry, but I do sometimes get sad because what I hear is satan laughing at all those he has deceived in not believing the truth. They have rejected the one thing that will do them eternal good, and satan has a field day.
