you shouldn't get your tattoo dirty and excessively wet and ESPECIALLY not have it come into contact with bodily fluids (animal or human) until it is completely healed. i would suggest waiting to get the tattoo until you can take the proper amount of time off otherwise you run a serious risk of getting an infection and winding up in the hospital. your heath is more important than a tattoo. just save up some vacation time or something.

As others have reported, do no longer positioned Vaseline on your new tattoo. it's going to suffocate the therapeutic skin. Swelling is generic for various days. I have been given a disguise up carried out on my foot the day previous to this and that i've got have been given mine propped up genuine now to decrease swelling. Take some ibprofen if that is particularly bothering you. As for different aftercare, persist with unscented lotion like Aveeno two times an afternoon. ensure that that is thoroughly dry formerly you prepare lotion or you will make the scabbing worse. Scabbing, peeling, and itching are all generic. do no longer %. at any scabs or scratch while it itches. Infections in tattoos are incredibly uncommon, so which you may no longer could do something specific to stay away from it.

Not a good Idea to have your tattoo in water for any long period of time and why the blood?? that sounds odd, I would wait until you can take off the proper amount of time to allow the tattoo to fully heal before returning to work.

Best to take at least 2 weeks off work for it to heal properly otherwise it might get infected and then you would end up with a crap looking tatt which has to be redone & you would have wasted your money.

That area can be difficult to heal in as it is, let alone exposing it to contaminants and moisture.
Furthermore, what kind of health codes are there for food handlers? I don't believe you are allowed to have open wounds like that on the job - you 'd have to have a rubber glove that would go up to your elbow and then you would have healing issues.

It would not be advisable to try and make it "water tight"
The tat would not be able to heal properly.

heres an idea. Don't waste your money on a tattoo if you are a burger flipper! If you don't have enough money saved up to get a better job elsewhere you shouldn't be wasting a couple hundred on a tattoo.
