i have been using DVD decrypter and DVD shrink from doom9 they are free and are better than most you pay for but some discs are hard to crack but i just found a new little program called DVD xcopy a top notch program that will copy anything you put in your DVD drive
but only use it to make backups of your dvds

Go to afterdawn.com and search for dvdshrink. Then go to slysoft and pay the $20 for 'any dvd'. You also are going to need to have an instance of nero on your system. Doesnt need to be active just needs to be there. All these together will give you a good setup. Anydvd is well worth the $20 you dont need it but it will let you burn all discs.

You did not say if you already have a burning program or not.
If you have nero or easycd creator download dvd region+css free software and away you go

DVD shrink is good for backing up dvds it is free and will compress DVDs to fit onto a DVD-R disk as well as getting past copy protection. It is illegal to break copy protection on a disk though . . .

Yeah, Dvdshrink is good, BUT, you need Nero for it to work!
