How about a simple fee to work in the US?
If you’re not a US taxpayer a $2000/$3000 per year fee will be assessed and collected by the employers of said workers.


This would generate $millions$ of revenue.

I think that most " people " know that it will not work. It is our " paid off " politicians that are gumming up the works. Many major and large corporations are supporting relaxed immigration standards.

Zero I hope, guest worker programs is just corporate slavery...we need to legalize these folks...pay them a decent wage...then tax them... we need immigrants....just not ones that corporate America can abuse.

It's the government's solution to a problem they don't want to spend the money to fix.

Here's a better question: If our taxes weren't paying to feed, clothe and house the illegals, would we then have money to save the homeless and needy of true American citizen's?
