Don't you think God gave you that conscience to know what is of Him and what is not of Him?
So would you say that telling a lie is wrong?
Would you say that stealing is wrong?
Would you say adultery is wrong?
Murder?

Nick, everyone knows deep down these things are wrong---they are just lying to themselves because they have so much hate inside them....

The conscience can be "seared" until it no longer can judge right from wrong. Only God's Word is eternally correct in all matters of judgment of right and wrong. That is why it is so important to know what it says and what it means.

One's conscience is an extension of the abstract concept of right and wrong. Humans, not nature, created morality.

That said, according to the society that we live in, stealing, adultery, and murder are wrong. However, there have been cultures that were hedonistic, and others that viewed killing as honorable (to some degree). Morality is a cultural phenomenon...

Conscience does NOT emenate from God. It comes from the superego (internalised values of the father-figure), and the values of the society you live in.

Yes, lying, adultery and murder are wrong. This has nothing to with God.

do we have a conscience? some people think murder is okay, some people think stealing is okay, some people think rape is okay, obviously there was no god around to give these people a conscience

no everyone does not know "deep down" these things are wrong, you simply choose to believe that because it supports your world view
