Its EXTREMELY dangerous if you catch herpes for the first time during your pregnancy. If you are a woman who already has herpes and you get pregnant there is no problem concerning your pregnancy because your body has already built up an immune system againt the disease. The other concern it that you CANNOT have any symptoms of an outbreak when you give birth because the baby can catch herpes when passing through the birth canal. But if you herpes is dormant (not active ) you will be fine to deliver vaginaly, if not your doctor will have to preform a c-section. But dont worry too much, toward 28 weeks your doctor can prescribe a medication which is safe to take during pregnancy, it will prevent you from having an outbreak in order to allow you to deliver without any worries. I got clinically diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about 4 years back, when I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I know lots of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/IBEm3 everything changed.
Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

i dont think so... if your baby isnt born yet.. demand a c-section.. that reduces the risk i think.. not sure though...
