It depends on how long you plan to do those activities, your current eating habits, and your BMR. Try these caclulators and use the following formula to figure out how many calories you are gaining (losing) per day:

Calories Taken In - Calories burned due to exercise - Daily Caloric Need (BMR) = Net Calories

Also, every 3500 calories equals 1 pound. Its not recommended to lose more than 2-3 pounds per week.

*There are plenty of other calcs if you don't like these

Depending how much cardio, what type of cardio, and how much calories you burn compared to the amount you intake daily, you can expect anything. Make sure you eat a balanced diet. If you need help with what's considered enough, research on the Internet for certain things you need to know. Try to calculate how many claories you eat vs. how many calories you burn. If you do everything right, you should see results within a month. This is what I did to lose 20lbs in 2 months and currently still losing fat. I started off lighlty speed-walking for an hour and weight training for an hour five times a week. Currently, I run 1.5 miles, walk, and run 1 mile. Then, I weight train for an hour. One day I'll do upper body. The next I do lower body. THe other 2 days I just do cardio. Along with my running, I add more cardio by trying other machines such as the Olyptico, for 30 min. Or I'll do the Stairmaster. I also try different classes at the gym I go to. I do Pilates, kickboxing, Sculpting, and Dance. It's hard work. You'll be in pain almost everyday if you're doing it right. I'm in pain right now LOL! Just think about it bieng like pushing yourself past the limit.

You will probably lose some weight, but then your body will get used to that routine. Eventually you will have to change your eating habits and/or increase your exercise.
