I know everyone will say go to the Shelters, which I will I am just trying to keep my options open since I want a kitten that is under 4 months old and preferably a Tuxedo, does anyone have any good rescues they have worked with before?

I'm in Burbank, and aside from the local shelters, you should also call the local petco and other pet stores and ask them for numbers of the local cat rescues. We have also had good luck just going on the internet and searching for "tuxedo cat rescue" for example. Good luck! And kudos to you for electing to turn your back on the stinkin' pet stores!!!

try going on the craiglist people are always posting kittens for adoptions- now their not rescues but better adopt them before they get put in a rescue
