I love him but i am afriad of the trouble it will cause???

I met this boy few days ago and we like each other.The thing is he and my brother is like best friends and he want to ask my brother permission to date me,but i know my brother won't approve so why ask. But if he ask my brother he gonna come right to my mom and tell her stuff and that will cause trouble.what should i do??? should i keep it as a secret?? i am not allowed to date and i am 16 years old.what a life!!!!
