This Colonel here (the one who is still breastfeeding her 3 year olds, see my other question), brought her 3 year old little girls in today. They both had long blonde hair, were wearing sun hats with flowers, capris, and cute little suede boots.
Then I found out they were little boys.
What the hell?

The long hair wasn't what seemed strangest to me, it was the girl clothes. But hey, I don't mind, I was just told after I realized my mistake that she gets really mad when people mistake them for girls. If you don't want people to think they're girls, don't put flowers in their hair and dress them in capris!

If she's breastfeeding 3-year-old boys and dressing them as girls, she probably has mental problems.

Why does this bother you? They are not your children so you really shouldn't worry about it. There are so many other important things to worry about. Instead worry about the mother who is doing drugs and neglecting or abusing her children. I know a lot of little boys with long hair. I know a lot of men with long hair for that matter. I also know a lot of girls that dress like boys. My 20 month old was dressed in clothes that came from the boys section, he has curly hair and it was a little long and most people thought he was a girl. Does this mean I am a bad mother. I think not. I think you need to focus your anger and frustrations on things that matter.

Why? I don't know.

Would I? Definitely not.

Maybe she wanted girls and decided that these boys will have to fulfill her inner most desire for a girl.

I don't mind the long hair - it's the flowers and girly outfits on the boys that makes me say "No way"

Wow!! Does the woman that said to call Child Protective Services have any idea what that means? That's insane to me, if there are no signs of abuse why would you assume that long hair and a bow gives good reason to start such drastic measures.. Holy cow!

Then people start to wonder about there llittle boy when he's 12 showing signs that he may be gay or something!!!!!

I don't mind long hair on boyz but I'm afraid hitchhikers will jump in...(Head lice) so I keep my son's hair short at all times.

Lol!!! Maybe she really wanted girls, lol. Some people are just like that I guess. Don't worry, when those boys are all grown up they will let her have it for all the embarrassing photos she must have of them.

I THINK SHE REALLY WANTED GIRLS, I HAVE A SON AND WOULD NEVER PUT CAPRIS ON HIM. THE LONG HAIR CAN GO BOTH WAYS! SHE SOUNDS A LITTLE CRAZY.

i don't think long hair should be limited to girls. some little boys look down right cute w/longer hair.

and honestly...their not your kids...so it's not your place to say.
i hate froo froo frilly, lacey dresses and gigantic hair bows...but i don't criticize other ppls children for wearing them..i just don't put them on my daughter. frankly, maybe you should just get over it.
it's not THAT big of a deal really.

It's not common, the person you are referring to sounds as if she has some sort of mental or emotional problems. Consider alerting Child Protective Services, not because there is abuse, but because if the parents are unstable they can look into it and offer assistance to both the parents and the children.
