Typical liberal hypocrisy and meaningless blather. What if everybody that has been taken in by that global warming bull crap are the victims of a liberal plot to see how many Americans would believe such an obvious Big Lie? The first Big Lie was 'guns are evil'. I was not fooled. Were you? We can do absolutely nothing to change nature~NOTHING!!! Nature is never the same. Constant change is the only thing nature does with any regularity. Last night, it was 30* here. Tonight, it is 60* here. And no, global warming had nothing to do with it.

It doesn't matter. Al Gore has absolutely nothing to do with the science that tells us global warming is a problem, caused by us.
These people don't think so, anyway. They don't get their science from Gore, they get it from the best scientists in the world.
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
"The overwhelming majority of atmospheric scientists around the world and our own National Academy of Sciences are in essential agreement on the facts of global warming and the significant contribution of human activity to that trend."
Russell E. Train, Republican, former environmental official under Presidents Nixon and Ford
"We simply must do everything we can in our power to slow down global warming before it is too late. The science is clear. The global warming debate is over."
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican, Governor, California
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
John McCain, Republican, Senator, Arizona
"These technologies will help us become better stewards of the environment - and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change."
President George Bush

A perfect example of a do-what-I-say-not do-what-I-do elitist.
Following is a link to a petition signed by over 17,000 scientists who do not believe in man-caused global warming. The petition they signed says in part:
"There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth."

It gets to be tiring reading all the answers to these global warming questions on Yahoo that state that the science is settled because most all scientists believe in it. The above will provide the names of over 17,000 scientists who do not support the idea of man-caused global warming.

If any of these liberal icons from Al Gore to Ted Kennedy, to The Hollywood elite actually believed the global warming claptrap they wouldn't be burning fossil fuels with such wild abandon. Just imagine someone telling you to that your commmunity is running out of fresh water. He implores you to take short showers and do everything in your power to conserve water. Then you see the same guy washing his car and watering his lawn. Obviously, he doesn't believe it himself.

I think you have your facts incorrect. Al Gore uses commercial air lines to fly to cities where he gives his slide presentation on global warming. As far as what he spends for electricity, this is an urban legend. He is currently installing solar panals on his home.
I suggest that you see the DVD, "An Inconvenient Truth". It is excellent and very well done. It is also scientifically sound. I showed it to my science classes last week and I would be very hard pressed to find fault with any of the points he made.
Regardless of your political leanings, global warming is very real.

Don't listen to Gore as he wants only to apply the laws to you and me. He wants to save all the fuel as he thinks that it will soon run out. He doesn't want other people to wast his fuel. He doesn't know that Mother Earth has been recycling the fossil fuel for millions of years.

Just a simple case of a politician telling us "Do as I say, not as I do". Humor him, or better still, ignore him. He got his award and so he should be happy.
