Art classes at 3? WOW... A lot of kids are doing nothing but creating POOP in their DIAPERS at 3....
I know they are out there....
I just hope you didn’t have the inspiration at 3 months and create some masterpiece while breast-feeding.
No… It’s not weird. Your parents just care for your future and who cares if some other people think it’s weird….
If they DO say anything to you about starting art classes at 3 just tell them what I said in my top line..
OH.. BTW.. You can always do what I did in elementry school...
OH.. BTW.. You can always do what I did in elementary, middle and high school….
Take your art and use it to create income… Sell drawings to your classmates.. Birthdays, people who want to show affection for a GF or BF, other holidays etc… People pay, really they will… I use to do small drawings for a couple of bucks.. But then again, back when I was a kid a quarter would buy you a coca cola and a candy bar….

Not at all. Children who start learning at young ages grasp the material that they study faster and better. Two words, TIGER WOODS. I am not a golf fan at all, but he was out on the green at such a young age, and he enjoyed and still enjoys it. If this is something that you enjoy and were not forced to take interest in, then good for you. This could end up being your lively hood. It may end up just being something that you do to relax. You know what you like and how you feel. If there is someone raising doubts about what interests you then thete is your answer. If only we could all say that we did something worth while with our life. Never let someone else's ideas of what you should be doing with your life change what makes you happy. Once you start letting others affect your knowledge of how you should live, you stop living and become a "robot"

No, because it is what you enjoy so why do you think it is weird, do you think it is weird for me to go school for culinary arts even though my family cooks well? I think that you do art is great because it is something you love doing, people shouldn't worry about what others think they should do something useful or what they enjoy doing such as take me with my cooking classes for example. My offical answer is "NO" it is not weird for you to have art class.

No...I'm 18 and I've been taking art classes for 15 years. It just means you're more practiced than other kids your age. It's a benefit, not an oddity.

I think it is great! As long as going to art classes is your idea and not your parents. Many parents want their kids to be someone they are not. If art is your passion then do not worry about what other people say.

So you have been going since 3?
How interesting. Your parents must be horrible to live with or that is quite an early age and long lenght for therapy, or you must have shown talent at an early age. In any event I wouldn't say it is weird...interesting yes.

Nope - not odd to me.
Even if you do not have any talents yet, you are at least
learning about art. Nature and Art are the beauties of this world!
