Just curious, but what do you consider long hair? My hair is hip length: is that long? (I am growing my hair out because I want to make a Guinness World record for longest hair one day) How long does hair usually grow each month/year? Do you think that my hair could become knee length in 5 1/2 years? PLEASE ANSWER AS MUCH AS YOU CAN ANSWER. I NEED ALL OF THE HELP I CAN GET.

Anything longer than mid-back is Definitely long! Your hair will grow to knee length sooner than that, but check the guiness records to see how long the longest hair is - it's definitely longer than knee length.

Your hair is very long. H air grows about an inch a month on average but everyone is different. Why grow your hair so long ? it will become very heavy and uncomfortable, it may even cause traction alopecia (bald patches caused by too much tension on the hair). I bet that there is loads of other things that could enhance your world.

That is pretty long. My hair only grew about 1/2 an inch a month. So it would take 2yrs to grow a foot for me. Hope that helps

I like long hair, but not insanely, down to your feet hair. I would like my hair just a bit past my breast, maybe not to my hip but wow, that must of taken you a LONG time to grow! I think hair grows a few inches every year. But not everyone's hair keeps growing. Your hair may stop growing, because it just can't grow anymore. :) Good luck getting the record too.

I consider long hair below shoulders! So yes yours is long!
My hair grows like 5 inches every year but I'm ALWAYS trimming it. So trimming your split ends will actually make it grow faster.

yes your hair right now is long when most people have "long hair its like armpit length so you really have long hair and yes i think 5 1/2 years could get you that leingth
