I'll stick to the freeway. Nuthin like being lost on a rural country road, boy howdy!

Scenic rural drives - I'd rather take US 13, US 17 or US 29 rather than drive I-95 or I-81 in VA. I will drive I-95 south of Richmond but that becomes tedious once you hit NC.

Depends on the situation:

Sunday drive? Rural

Cross country vacation? Freeway.
