It just means you saw a cat. In reality, it does not have any other meaning to it. I have a black cat I see everyday and life goes on as usual.

it means you're looking at a cat with black fur. north american superstition says it's bad luck if it crosses your path; I think I've heard it's good luck in the UK... maybe it's just a matter of what side of the road you drive on? seriously, though, a black cat has no more supernatural power than a white cat or an orange cat... no less either... it's just a cat

It means that you have good vision! Especially if you see one at night!
Absolutely nothing to anything special (good or bad) about black cats. They are just everyday cats, normal in every way, they just happen to be black!

nothing!! i have two black cats myself and they are loving cats and whatever anyone says they are not bad luck or anything. they are just like any other cat and I luvee them to death
In fact in Egypt Black cats were really good luck
so anyone talkin crap about black cats being bad luck get a life!!

That you saw a feline animal who's fur happens to absorb all light directed at it, so your eyes perceive that as being a "black" cat, as opposed to a white cat, where all the light is reflected to the back of your retinas.

Joy & love. I have a 6 year old black cat that is sweet as sugar. Her fur feels and looks like a mink coat.
