It depends on what you consider 'walking distance'. I would say that most Americans don't like to walk more than a 1/4 mile to anywhere. But, you could conceivable walk to Bubbalous bar-b-que, Chick-fil-A, Memories of India, Einstein bagels, etc. But.... if you are looking to go to Universal, you may just want to pack a lunch and bring it in with you. If you are just looking for something close to your hotel, then ask the front desk clerk and they should be able to direct you to the closest places.

There is not much near there that is cheap that isn't fast food but Planet Hollywood is probably your best bet :0)
