Ah! Cannelloni. melt in your mouth from any Italian restaurant that has been in business for 20 years. Not any from new chains. In So. San Francisco a place called Bertaluchis is heaven.

I love both too! When it comes to preparation time I guess Lasagna would be faster for me to make. I use pork mince, with chili and garlic sauce in the mince to give it extra bite, then I use only fresh pasta and home made tasty cheese sauce with Parmesan and breadcrumbs to top it all off....(I'm salivating at the thought!) :)
With Cannelloni I use a low fat cheese with spinach to stuff them and make a thick tomato sauce with roughly chopped garlic and parsley to cover. It is rather 'fiddly' though......
At the end of the day, I just cannot decide,..think I will go and make a Lasagna though!!!!! :)
Good luck!

Lasagna is great for crowds, Costco "Kirkland Signature" makes a GREAT one to keep in the freezer for a special family function. Cannelloni is a lot more work and I make it special for a few with a wonderful green salad and a light dessert like lemon tart.
