I made a mistake on my family income and taxes paid. I made a change to a 'processed' fafsa. But because i have recently made the change, and the deadline to submit the fafsa to colleges was march 2. Does this hurt my chances to get financial aid from the colleges I have applied too? Or is it okay because it was already processed before mar. 2????

Please help.

FAFSA processes your application by the first date you submitted it.

I worked as part of a group that educated high school youth on how to get into college. One thing we would frequently tell them is to guess at FAFSA answers and once their parents W2's come in then go back and change. This would give them earlier submission date. I have experience with this, you will be fine!

no it will not affect it, they will adjust it accordingly, don't worry about it, it won't look like you are trying to "fudge" the numbers or anything. I did the same thing i had to go back and correct it. that is why they give you the option to correct it.
