I haven't been with Answers very long, and today I think I had my first real learning experience! I was absolutely blown away by a question from some nut talking about whether or not we agreed that her 13 year old daughter should have breast implants. I responded and moved on, but about 5 hours later I looked back to see what other responses had been like. I laughed so hard I cried!!!! But then I saw something about "trolls" and another answerer wrote that this person moma-somebody seemed familiar and had probably changed her screen name?
Would any of you with some experience under your belt be kind enough to enlighten me on trolls, reported questions, whack-o's like momawhoever, etc. I know this will sound really lame, but I thought the questions asked here were sincere. All Right Already...You can stop laughing now! LOL! I really would appreciate your expertise on this subject. Thanks ahead of time for your help! Annie

depending on the area of the questions
some are very sincere and others people are asking questions out of their butts, plain and simple
i went back and read mama's other questions they are all elaborate stories and nothing more trying to get a rise out of people, she does a good job of it LOL

Like any other site, especially message boards/forums, Yahoo! Answers is full of trolls looking to get a rise out of people for their own entertainment.

That particular one will post several questions that are so out there and there is another on the is constantly posting stupid questions about re-inserting her umblical cord.
