we could lighten up and take this persecution and abuse with good humor like Jesus would want us to? After all, it is blessed to be persecuted, right? So we should welcome it and secretly wish for more persecution.lol
Why are the Christians here so uptight over nonsense questions?

All these "attacks" on our religion should give us opportunity to practice same, no?

This is a good question to ask.

You are right sister. I must confess I have found myself getting all worked up at times over questions. I even had to walk away from this board for a week or two to calm down and pray about it. I was not being a good witness.

I hope and pray that people will realize that Christ Jesus loves them more than they realize. He loved us enough to willingly die on a cross while we were yet sinners. He could have called more then 12 armies of angles to come to his defense but His love for us was greater then His avoiding the persecution and suffering.

I wonder if it's because many Christians are "passionate" about their belief. Passion is one thing...but you are right...to lighten up is a better way to "relax' and rest in God's Arms while practicing more wisdom and grace.

I welcomed your good question...a real breath of fresh air...Bravo !

I think that answering questions with the truth might sound easily provoked or kinda like in your face. I know that is not my intention and think it is not the intention of other Christians on this forum to attack back.

I think like with any group of people on the internet, you have various levels of maturity ... some of the newer Christians, the "babes" in Christ, get very upset when attacked. They do so because their faith is new and they don't want the boat rocked (so to speak).

I don't think the christians that were persecuted by the romans and fed to lions at the coliseum would've agreed with you.

Persecuted? Really? Aren't you stretching the truth just a little bit?

I think a lot of people take other people's opinions way too seriously. It's just that...their opinion. I know my relationship with the Lord and no one on "Answers" is going to make that change. So, I take it in stride. I know who guides my steps and my life and I am so thankful for it!
