When they freeze the wart, it causes a blister to form around the wart. As the blister grows, it pulls the wart out from the roots. There for, removing the wart. It may be hard to see this process, since it is the bottom of your foot and your skin in tougher in that area. It usually takes a couple of days for this to complete. Just try to keep the area as clean as possible so you don't get a secondary infection. Some people have to go back numerous times until the wart is totally removed. But, not always.

I had a plantar wart once! Oh that booger hurt! Anyway, the only way I could get rid of it was to have the Dr. freeze it off with Nitrous Oxide (?). Never came back!

Mine didn't come off completely until I went to the drug store and bought some over the counter remedy. Only part of the wart came off from the doctor visit, $7.00 later, I was wart free though. Be careful how much you put on, the surrounding tissue will be destroyed, as well as the wart. Good luck.

it will stay like this for a couple more days then turn a lot bigger and darker. when it is bigger it will just be smooth skin with the dead wart inside. after about 5 days or so the skin will start to peel of and may even bleed a little. in some cases the wart will even start releasing watery liquids. after about 2 weeks your new skin will grow back and you'll be perfectly fine.

p.s. its not going to "fall off"

If all else fails you can always get some DR Scholes (SP?) corn removers. Those always worked for my warts. Keep it on for two weeks if you can.

It will turn black eventually and then it will fall off. I used that at home on my son and it took a long time but it worked.

If it not falls off, then come back after the weekend. Probably the spray was not strong enough. If you got too much, it could damage your normal tissue.
