No, and I will be frank. I am a scientist and I work in a unit lab that has been modified to relate to these perculiar and odd problems such as what people use to enhance their character. Baking soda as you know is good for baking anything using flour but not oat. You though, I will give you a suggestion. by the way, you can call me Dr. Fixx. Now, I suggest that you use the finest vitamins and minerals in their true settings, such as real fruits and vegetables. Utilizing a combination of these foods will not only make your hair grow at its own rate, but will also give your hair luster and shine, so that when you are out in the sunshine, the sun will radiate and flicker beautifully off your hair with your hair having a soft bounce, so please, do not use baking soda, this will in fact ruin your hair and you will be utterly regretful. Have a nice day and have an apple before sleeping, an orange after awakening, and during the day substitute fruits and vegatables for junk food in order to prevent the possiblitiy of becoming a couch potato , then, it that should gradually happen, you won't have to worry or be concerned about how your hair can look better, you will be more concerned over all that junkfood and t.v. watching which iwill eventually lead to your ruination. Tata.

No. Nothing makes your hair grow longer and faster, except vitamins from fruits & veggies, good health and blood circulation to the scalp (try massaging your scalp when you put shampoo on), and getting good trims every 4 months, to keep your hair healthy.

Since Baking Soda is a natural abrasive, I would have to say that it would cause your hair to break.
