I am in love with this guy and we are great friends, and we are a lot alike and I was going to ask him to go do something with us this weekend... and then if things were going great then I was going to ask him out but then someone told me that he thinks high school dating is retarded... but I still want to go out with him what should I do?

ask him to "hang out" make it sound like a innocent night of fun and invite some other friends over and find a way tht u can end up sitting next to him, like get one of your friends to take all the other seats and you too have to end up sitting with each other. You'll know for sure if he likes you by then!

The person who told you that he thinks high school dating is retarded, it wouldn't be a girl, would it?
Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, she's interested in that boy also and wants him for herself or that maybe, she only likes him because you do and could therefore be jealous of your future happiness with a potential boyfriend simply because she doesn't have one herself?
Think about it before jumping to conclusions!
Do a little investigating!
Ask your crush if he thinks high school dating is retarded before asking him out.

I would bring up the subject casually in a conversation with him. Maybe the person who told you that didn't want you two to go out. Ask him indirectly. Good Luck!

well you never know from my experience they mostly all rumors ever if its Ur best Friend flirt and see where things go see if he whould want to go to the movies anything can happen their u never know he might grow found of you
