The United Nations set the boundries of the land that would become Isreal and declared Jerusalem an open city under international control. If the Arab Legion-- not the Palestinians--would not have crossed the boundries from countries ouside Palestine the Jews would have had no legal way to disenfranchise the palestinians.

Historically the Arabs were nomads they had few set cities and Jeruselum was not one of them. It wasn't the arabs who chased out the canaanites.

They were stupid (albeit somewhat justified) and the outcome has messed up the region for 60 years. We are now negotiating to try to get back to something approaching the British partition plan. Even if they could get rid of the West Bank settlements, given Jerusalem, the Arabs would have been better off with the British proposal than they will be with any proposal that Israel will agree to.

I think the arab people didnt do anything against their right cause if we look back in history the land belongs to the arabs and still did at 1940 when the issue became bigger, so the land was never before Jewish. they just came there and said it was their land like that was the only thruth..
Everybody knows this but none of them wants to admit that the thruth is the land palestine belongs to the arabs.
