Yes these little buggers are horrible!! As another said they are not a sign of not being clean!!! When you buy noodles or barley or oats or seed of anykind always freeze it for 24 hours before storing it!! most of the time these are already in the food just the have not hatched yet! They will not hurt you!! I would not eat something that has adults in it but if you can not see them they are so small that you would need something to help you see them!! If you have bird seed in the house they are almost always in that!!!
By the way you are seeing adults!!! Throw it away!!!
Believe it or not you eat bugs almost everyday of your life!! Really!! You just do not see them!!
Good luck

Throw it out!! This is not a figment of your imagination--this is weevils (bugs who get into things like flour, macaroni, cereals, etc.). It is possible that the bugs are in other items in your kitchen cabinets--I would check them carefully--outdoors!
One summer my son bought huge quantities of macaroni and cereal products from Costco. Between the heat and the humidity, they all went bad--very fast. Everything needed to be thrown out. I also once brought some home in a loaf of bread--which had been sitting in my car for about one hour in the summer.
From what I know about weevils, they are always present in products containing flour, but they grow. Heat and humidity make them grow faster.
When in doubt, throw it out!!

They are called weavels. They are small insects with wings that love to find themselves a home in your pasta flour, or any other dried product. It won't hurt you to eat them because you are cooking the macaroni so it's just up to your comfort level. Usually find those guys in something that has been in the cupboard for awhile. Check out your other products to make sure they are not infected. Weavels do lay eggs.

Chuck the noodles. These little bugs love anything floury, like flour, noodles, nuts. Check out your cupboard and see how many more crawling about. This has nothing to do with cleaniness, they sometimes develop already in the flour. You need to keep stuff like that in a tight container.

Yech....those are mealworms. For God`s sake, pitch it! And you`d better check all dry goods in your cabinets for them. If they are in one thing, they`re probably in everything. It wouldn`t kill you to eat them, but I wouldn`t want to.
